Farmer Signs with Hiwassee College

Parents and coach posed for pictures with Lookout Valley High School senior Tshombe T. Farmer recently as he signed a Letter of Intent to play soccer at Hiwassee College, located in Madisonville, TN. Farmer will trade in his Yellow Jackets uniform for one with the Hiwassee College Tigers and play under the direction of Coach Dustin Debty. Debty remarked, “I am very excited to be signing Tshombe to play for Hiwassee College. His skills and athletic abilities will be a huge asset to the team.”
Farmer is honored to be playing college soccer, especially at Hiwassee College. In an interview, Farmer stated, “I never thought I would ever get to play a college sport so I fell like this is an honor to have this opportunity!”
Farmers parents are happy their son will be playing for Hiwassee College. Tshombe’s mother, Nakia Farmer Mathis, stated, “We are very proud of our son. We feel this will be a great experience for him.”
