Hiwassee College Holds First of Three New Student Orientations
Attendees to the first of three scheduled New Student Orientations at Hiwassee College included Quintarius Oliver and his sister, Constance Bowens, both from Stone Mountain, Georgia.
More than 50 members of the entering class of Freshmen and transfer students participated in a new student orientation on the campus of Hiwassee College in Madisonville, TN on Saturday, June 23rd. Richard Bettis, Director of Admissions, said: “We look forward to welcoming this class, the largest in several years. New students will participate in one of three orientation sessions planned for this summer. The next group will arrive on July 20. The third session will be held on August 10. Hiwassee College was founded in 1849 and is located in Madisonville, TN. Now in its 163rd year, the college offers a variety of programs leading to the Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Applied Science, Bachelor of Arts, and Bachelor of Science degrees.
