Hiwassee College Instructor Earns Prestigious Medal

Hiwassee College’s Instructor of Equestrian Studies and Director of Hiwassee College Equestrian Center, Christy Lynn Hart, along with her horse, Brando MHF, have earned their Bronze Medal from the United States Dressage Federation. The United States Dressage Federation presents the Bronze Medal to riders who have attained two scores of 60% or better at First Level, Second Level, and Third Level.
Christy and Brando MHF competed at the Holiday on Horse Dressage Show held on December 1 and 2 in Aiken, South Carolina where the dynamic pair won both of their classes at Third Level. The scores earned at this competition were the final scores needed by Hart and Brando MHF to attain their Bronze Medal.
In an interview, Hart stated, “It is a dream come true! Brando MHF and I have trained so hard for this prestigious honor from the United States Dressage Federation. I am honored to have such a talented horse and the support of my family, friends, and my students at Hiwassee College.”
