Karrie L. Yearwood posed for pictures recently as she signed a volleyball scholarship with Hiwassee College, located in Madisonville, TN.  Yearwood will be joining the team for the fall semester, playing for head volleyball coach, Libby Tipton.  Tipton remarked,  “I am very excited to have Karrie play for us.  She will be a valuable player and student of Hiwassee College.”

Yearwood is looking forward to playing volleyball at Hiwassee College.  She stated, “I am very excited to become a part of Hiwassee College.  Attending school and playing volleyball here will be a great experience!”

Yearwood is very concentrated on her studies.  She graduated from Tellico Plains High School before enrolling at Tennessee Wesleyan College last year.  Now in her second year of college, she is majoring in math and is excited to face all the challenges the Mathematics Department of Hiwassee College has to offer.
