McCain Signs with Hiwassee College

Parents and coaches surround Carter High School senior Kimesha Tayler (K.T.) McCain recently as she signed a Letter of Intent to play soccer at Hiwassee College, located in Madisonville, TN.  McCain will trade in her Hornets uniform for one with the Hiwassee College Tigers and play under the direction of Coach Dustin Debty.

Debty remarked,  “I am very excited to have K.T. here at Hiwassee College.  Her experience will go a long way in helping rebuild the team this season.”

Mark Proctor, Carter High School soccer coach said, “I am very proud of K.T. for choosing Hiwassee College to study and play for.  It is very exciting to have her play college soccer so close to home.”

McCain is looking forward to playing soccer at Hiwassee College.  In an interview, McCain stated, “I chose Hiwassee because of the athletic and academic opportunities.  And I love the campus!”

McCain’s parents are excited to see their daughter sign with Hiwassee College.  Her father, Dennis McCain, stated, “I am happy for the opportunity that my daughter has to extend her education and to play soccer on the collegiate level.  I am proud of her and appreciative of Hiwassee College.”
